NORMAL PROBLEM

1.Dynamic mic

Its working principle is that the diaphragm in the microphone drives the coil to vibrate, cutting the magnetic line to generate electrical signals, and then transmits them to the next equipment.

Advantages: stable and reliable, concise structure, sturdy, affordable and lower performance environment. Without any battery and external power but features smooth and fine audio frequency response and enough output level that ensures mic directly connecting to mic input with excellent S/N ratio.

Disadvantages: without enough high frequency response and without fine tone.

2.Condenser mic

Its core is a sensor. A very thin metal diaphragm is used as one pole of the capacitor and another metal backplane (zero point millimeters or so) is used as the other pole, so the vibration of the diaphragm will cause the change of capacitance capacity to form electrical signals. Advantage is thin diaphragm, even slight tone driving diaphragm vibration. So features high sensitivity, better frequency response and great output tone. The disadvantage is without 48V phantom power it cannot work.

3.Ribbon mic

The principle is the same as dynamic but takes a ribbon as diaphragm to generate signal.

The advantage is classic and warmth tone, rapid frequency response and natural mid/low frequency.

The disadvantage is high frequency response not so well, not suitable for most applications and no need phantom power. Be careful of saliva erosion.
